Corporate Travel Management (CTM) announced it has expanded its Sleep Space hotel commerce platform into the North American market as the first part of its global rollout. The move, according to the announcement, will deliver North American companies access to exclusive hotel rates and inclusions and enhanced traveler benefits, while enabling more cost-effective distribution for global, regional and local accommodation providers.
Sleep Space’s proprietary distribution model, said the announcement, reduces third-party booking costs for hotels and increases value for CTM’s corporate customers through better rates and inclusions, available through both offline and online channels, including CTM’s Lightning online booking tool and select third party booking tools.
Since launching in Australia and New Zealand in 2024, said the announcement, Sleep Space has delivered strong results for CTM customers, with more than 900,000 room nights booked, over 2,500 hotels contracted and city rates averaging 13% lower than market averages.
Erik Shor, chief partnership officer, North America and global hotel programs, said: “The launch of Sleep Space in North America is a key milestone in CTM’s global strategy to deliver improved value through innovation in corporate travel.” By leveraging direct hotel partnerships, he said, “we are delivering better rates, added-value inclusions, and a more seamless booking experience for our customers to support reduced leakage and higher compliance, while giving hotels access to a highly engaged corporate audience at a lower cost of distribution.”
