Appointments and promotions at Marriott International and HHM Hotels

Marriott International announced that Jen Mason will become CFO on March 31, 2026, with the retirement of Leeny Oberg. In addition, Shawn Hill will assume Oberg’s other position of chief development officer, effective Jan. 1, 2026. Oberg has been with the company for 26 years, the last nine as CFO. Mason joined Marriott in 1992 and currently serves as global officer, treasurer and risk management. Hill, who has been with the company for 27 years, is currently chief development officer for Marriott’s Asia-Pacific excluding China region.

HHM Hotels, which operates over 235 hotels in the US and Canda, announced a restructuring of its leadership team. Cathy O’ Brien, Hiram Negron and Doug Wilkins were all promoted to be executive vice presidents of operations; and Marsha Ray was named executive vice president, head of Canadian operations. O’Brien currently oversees 35 hottels in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic; Negron joined HHM in 2007 and oversees operations sales and revenue management in New York City and New England; Wilkins previously led operations at multiple hospitality companies including two decades with Starwood; and Ray has over 30 years of industry experience, including as senor vice president of operations for Aimbridge Hospitality.
