Kumming, China — Baymont Kunming Wuhua has opened with 92 rooms in the heart of the commercial center of the city, the capital of Yunnan province. It is the first for the brand outside the Americas. The hotel features fitness facilities, complimentary breakfast and 3,230 square feet of meeting space.

Bridgeport, Texas — The 57-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bridgeport has opened near several corporate offices. It offers an indoor pool, fitness and business centers, and meeting space.

Dhaka, Bangladesh — The 85-room Hyatt Place Dhaka Uttara has opened in the Uttara neighborhood of the Bangladeshi capital. The property features all-day dining at a restaurant called Zing, a market for snacks and a rooftop bar.

Milan — The Carlton has opened as part of the Rocco Forte Hotels group. The 71-room hotel has two restaurants, a bar and a spa. It has a central location with entrances on Via Senato 5 and Via della Spiga 8.
