Delta Air Lines announced it has opened Phase 1 of its second Delta One Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport — a 4,000-square-foot space with seating for 75 guests, located on the mezzanine level of Terminal 2. Phase 2 of the lounge is scheduled to be completed in 2028.
Alongside the second Delta One Lounge, Delta will add an 11,000-square-foot Delta Sky Club to Terminal 2, opening in 2027. These investments bring Delta’s global network to 60 lounges worldwide, according to the carrier, which says it has the most expansive lounge portfolio of any US-based airline.
Megan Humphreys, vice president of Delta Sky Club and Lounge Experience, said, “This investment remains congruent to our strategy of elevating the premium experience both at LAX and across our global network.” With demand for premium travel continuing to rise and Delta’s global footprint expanding, she said, “we’re thoughtfully looking at every square foot we have — designing every detail with intention and to align with the Delta One experience our customers deserve.”
Amenities in the lounge support both relaxation and refreshment, according to the announcement, including three showers, four cabana-style bathrooms and a premium bar. Throughout the lounge, said the announcement, guests can stay “powered and productive” with portable monitors and wireless chargers.
