Choice Hotels International has appointed Jeff Lobb as senior vice president, general counsel and secretary, effective March 26. In this role, he will oversee the company’s global legal and public policy strategy and operations. Lobb joined the company in 2006 and most recently served as deputy general counsel, overseeing the company’s corporate, finance and transactions teams.

Accor has named Laurent Choain as global chief people & culture officer, effective April 1. According to an announcement, he brings over three decades of international HR experience to the role. He has held senior roles at Forvis Mazars, Groupe Caisse d’Epargne (now BPCE) and Kempinski Hotels & Resorts, according to the announcement.

Capella Hotel Group has appointed Roland Fasel as president, effective April 6. With more than 30 years of experience, according to an announcement, he most recently served as group COO at Maybourne Hotel Group, where he oversaw a portfolio that included Claridge’s, The Connaught and The Berkeley in London. Prior to Maybourne, Fasel spent six years as COO of Aman Resorts.

ATG Travel Worldwide announced the appointment of Frank Langbein as co-managing director of ATG Business Travel Management in Germany. He brings over 20 years’ experience in the travel and mobility industries, according to an announcement. His LinkedIn profile shows previous roles at Hertz and Europcar.
