Ottawa, Canada — Alt Hotel Ottawa Airport has opened; it is directly connected to Ottawa International Airport via an enclosed walkway. The 178-room property offers two meeting rooms totaling 1,000 square feet, a market and a fitness center.

St. George, Utah — @Home by Best Western St. George has opened; it is the first for the brand in the US. Each of the 92 units has a full kitchenette and 55-inch TV. There are also a seasonally heated pool and a large fitness center.

Oak Park, Ill. — The 68-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago West – Oak Park has opened. It offers free breakfast, 24-hour market, fitness center and coffee available 24 hours a day.

Houston – The 275-room dual-branded Holiday Inn Express/Staybridge Suites has opened with 144 traditional hotel rooms and 131 extended stay suites. On the fifth floor, a 20,000-square-foot amenity deck features a pool, fitness center, and bar. The hotel also includes a full lobby bar and laundry service for guests. At the base of the tower, a grocery store and deli, called Urban Street Market, is expected to open in June.

Lisbon — The Andaz Lisbon has opened in the city’s Baixa neighborhood, marking the brand’s debut in Portugal. The 170-room property offers multiple dining outlets and a fitness center. A spa will open soon.
