Appointments and promotions at Take2Eton Group, Choice Hotels International and Yotel

Take2Eton Group, a TMC, has named industry veteran Julie Oliver as CEO. She was formerly managing director at Business Travel Direct for more than 20 years before its acquisition by Reed & Mackay in 2019. In recent years, Oliver has held several roles at Reed & Mackay, including global COO, CEO for Europe, and CEO of global events.

Choice Hotels International has promoted Tony Pallas to chief technology officer. He will lead enterprise technology, engineering and Choice’s hotel operations and property management platform, SkyTouch Technology. Pallas, who most recently served as chief commercial and technology officer for SkyTouch, has been with Choice for more than a decade.

Yotel, a 23-hotel chain, has appointed Paul Harnedy as COO. He joins from Cedar Capital Partners, where he served as executive vice president and head of asset management. He also held prior roles at Amaris Hospitality, Interstate Hotels & Resorts and IHG Hotels & Resorts. He will help lead UK-based Yotel’s global expansion effort to more than triple its portfolio to 100 hotels by 2031, according to the company.
