Openings in Tokyo and Florence

Tokyo — Fairmont Tokyo has opened, the brand’s first location in Japan. Positioned across the top floors of the newly developed Blue Front Shibaura Tower South, the hotel provides views of Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Bay and the city skyline. With 217 rooms and 29 suites, the property offers seven dining venues, a spa with a 60-foot infinity pool and extensive meeting space.

Florence —W Florence has opened in the former Grand Hotel Majestic. It is the second location for the brand in Italy, following the recent opening of W Rome. Situated in the heart of the city steps from the Duomo, the 119-room hotel offers a rooftop garden with panoramic views of the city; multiple dining outlets, including a rooftop restaurant (opening late summer); and flexible meeting spaces.
