Groupize.ai Names Former Boeing, JetBlue Executive as CTO

Ramki Ramaswamy will lead AI and other initiatives

Groupize.ai, a provider of meeting, event and compliance management technology for life sciences, announced the appointment of  Ramki Ramaswamy as chief technology officer. According to the announcement, his experience includes:

  • At Pretium, Ramaswamy drove digital strategy across five portfolio companies, implementing Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, centralized data lakes, and generative AI — contributing to growth in assets under management from $43 billion to $57 billion.
  • At Boeing, as CIO for commercial airplanes, he unified disconnected tools into a mobile-first manufacturing platform, reducing defects from 44% to 7% and saving $14 million, while overseeing cloud migration and pioneering augmented reality on production lines.
  • At JetBlue, as vice president of technology, he rebuilt customer web and mobile platforms, founded the airline’s data science division and led its cloud transformation, driving $30 million in annual savings and boosting customer satisfaction and market share.

Charles de Gaspé Beaubien, CCO, said Ramaswamy’s leadership “will be instrumental as we continue to deliver AI-first solutions that enterprises — and especially the life sciences sector — can trust to transform how they manage meetings and events.”
