Clarasight, an AI-based travel and expense platform, announced it has raised $11.5 million in Series A funding led by AlleyCorp, with participation from Rackhouse Venture Capital, Clocktower Ventures, Pulse Fund, Thayer Ventures, Future Back Ventures, Vestigo Ventures and XYZ Venture Capital.
According to the company, every core business function has been transformed by AI-native software except for corporate travel, and that gap is costing enterprises billions in inefficient spend, budget overruns and hours of manual work every day.
Clarasight claims it transforms travel programs from cost centers into profitability drivers. The company said it started by solving a real constraint: fragmented data across travel, expense, card and HR systems.
Now it has moved on to enabling a complete, real-time picture of travel programs. Every dollar of travel, expense, card and HR data is unified, normalized and AI-ready, according to the company. There is no manual reconciliation and no waiting on a TMC export. According to an announcement, “It’s your program, fully visible, all the time.”
The funding will be devoted to two areas, according to the announcement: advances in product development and “go-to-market.” The latter, said the announcement, includes expansion across North America and Europe.
