New ATPCO Solution Promises To Increase Speed of Shift to Dynamic Airline Offers

ATPCO, the airfare data provider, announced the appointment of Brett Burgess as its new president and CEO. He joined the company after serving as general manager of Jeppesen ForeFlight, an aviation software provider that was previously a division of Boeing. Before his role as general manager, Burgess was Jeppesen Foreflight’s chief product officer. His career also includes senior leadership roles at Sabre and as a consultant at Bain & Company.

Burgess first encountered the role ATPCO plays in the industry early in his career, according to an announcement, while leading shopping product responsibilities at Sabre, where he saw firsthand the complexity of coordinating pricing data and standards across hundreds of airlines.

“ATPCO sits at the intersection of data, technology and industry trust,” said Burgess. “This is an organization,” he said, “built on deep institutional knowledge and complex challenges, and the opportunity to evolve such a vital cornerstone of modern airline retailing is incredibly exciting.”
