Turkish Airlines has won the World Class award for the third time by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX). The award recognizes the carrier’s “global leadership in guest experience and service quality in the aviation industry.” APEX is a network of the world’s airports, alliances, suppliers, and related companies committed to elevating the air travel experience for passengers.

Ahmet Olmustur, chief marketing officer, said the award showcases the result of the dedication shown by the airline’s team members. He said the carrier’s ergonomic seats, personalized services and unique offerings aimed at meeting guests’ needs “are all part of our efforts to make the flight experience exceptional.” This award, he said, “demonstrates the accuracy of our strategies and efforts while motivating us to further enhance our future goals.”

Joe Leader, CEO of APEX, said that in the world of elevated aviation experiences, Turkish Airlines “soars above five-star airline status as a paragon of excellence as one of the only prestigious 2024 APEX World Class airlines in the world.”

APEX makes its evaluations by assessing safety, well-being, sustainability and guest service experience criteria. Turkish Airlines, a Star Alliance member, has a fleet of 429 (passenger and cargo) aircraft flying to 344 worldwide destinations in 129 countries.
