TripStax, a provider of business travel technology, and travel management company ALTOUR have launched a global trading model that creates a centralized ecosystem across ALTOUR’s global agency network. The solution synchronizes traveler profiles, booking data, quality control processes, documentation and branding.

The new model enables the network of independent travel agencies to operate as a single, unified global travel management organization. According to the companies, this creates a scalable framework for global agency collaboration while simplifying data management, reducing integration complexity and delivering a consistent customer experience worldwide.

The backbone of the system is TripStax QC, a logic and workflow platform driven by the TripStax Core. The Core is a data warehouse that collects, stores and enriches all traveler booking, profile, finance and third-party data from any content source, including multiple GDSs and online booking tools. The integrated data provides ALTOUR agencies with a sole source of truth within TripStax QC, as well as additional fully-integrated TripStax Profile and TripStax Docs modules.

Unlike traditional travel management consortia, where agencies often operate independently under a shared network, the TripStax-ALTOUR solution delivers centralized data management, automated itinerary production, unified reporting and globally consistent customer communications. The result for multinational corporate customers is a globally consistent service, local market expertise and fares, enhanced automation, and unified branding regardless of where their travel is booked.

“This is the model the industry has been trying to crack for 20 years,” said Gabe Rizzi, President of ALTOUR. “We’re giving ALTOUR and its agencies a shared operating system. Unified data, unified quality control, unified customer experience – all without sacrificing the cultural fluency that wins accounts and keeps travelers loyal.
