A Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737-10 aircraft soars above the scenic cityscape of Istanbul, Turkey. The plane features the airline's branding, "flypgs.com," prominently displayed on the fuselage. Below, the vibrant city spreads out with its iconic Bosphorus strait winding through, dotted with bridges, boats, and waterfront architecture. The urban skyline is framed by a clear blue sky, emphasizing the juxtaposition of modern aviation against the historic charm of Istanbul.

Pegasus Airlines, a Turkish carrier, announced it has signed a new order agreement with Boeing for 200 aircraft to further strengthen its fleet in line with its growth targets. Deliveries from the new order are scheduled to join the Pegasus fleet starting in 2028. This marks the largest order ever placed in the airline’s history.

Under the terms of the agreement, Pegasus has placed a firm order for the first 100 Boeing 737-10 aircraft for delivery from 2028, with 100 additional purchasing options, which can be converted into firm orders in the future. The total value of the contract for 200 Boeing 737-10 aircraft is approximately $36 billion, based on Boeing’s publicly announced current list prices.

Güliz Öztürk, CEO of Pegasus Airlines, said the carrier “continues to invest in our fleet in line with our growth targets in Turkey and globally, and to expand our network by launching new routes.” With an average airplane age of four and a half years, he said, “we have the youngest fleet in Turkey and rank among the airlines with the youngest fleets in the world.”
