Orlando was the top meeting destination on Cvent’s Top Meeting Destinations for North America list for the 11th consecutive year, followed by Las Vegas (No. 2). Nashville made a jump to No. 3, rising one spot, while Chicago dropped one position to No. 4. New York City was the standout mover this year, surging four spots to break into the Top 10 at No. 8. Austin climbed two spots to No. 9. The rest of the Top 10 were Dallas (No. 5), Atlanta (No. 6), San Diego (No. 7) and Washington DC (No.10).

This year’s rankings highlight a dual trend, according to the report: the renewed strength of gateway cities like New York, alongside continued momentum from high-growth meeting hubs such as Nashville and Austin — underscoring planners’ appetite for destinations that pair scale with differentiated experiences unique to their locations.

On the hotel list, JW Marriott Austin rose four spots to claim the No.1 position this year, underscoring, said the report, Austin’s continued strength as a sought-after meetings destination. The Gaylord brand had a standout year, with Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Aurora, Colorado, ranking No. 2, Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville ranking No. 4, and Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine ranking No. 9. Las Vegas continued to demonstrate its depth of group offerings, with The Venetian Resort Las Vegas (No. 3), Fontainebleau Las Vegas (No. 5) and Wynn and Encore Las Vegas (No. 7) all earning Top 10 recognition.

Rounding out the Top 10 hotels were the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess (No. 6), the Omni Nashville Hotel (No. 8) and the Fairmont Austin (No. 10).

Bharet Malhotra, Cvent’s executive vice president, said, “The record-setting $20 billion plus of group business that was sourced through our platforms in 2025 is a clear signal that in a world saturated with digital communication, face-to-face events have never been more valuable.”

The rankings, according to the company, are determined based on insights gleaned from more than $20 billion of global sourcing and RFP activity through Cvent’s sourcing platforms in 2025, including the Cvent Supplier Network, a hotel and venue sourcing marketplace. The record sourcing activity seen in 2025 reflects more than demand-driven growth, according to the report. It signals a structural shift in how organizations are prioritizing face-to-face engagement in an increasingly digital-first landscape.

London was once again named Europe’s leading destination for meetings, marking its fourth consecutive year at No. 1. The Top 3 cities on the Continent remain unchanged year on year, with Barcelona holding onto second place and Madrid remaining third.

The Meliá Avenida América in Madrid was declared the top meetings hotel in Europe, followed by the Hilton London Metropole and The W Barcelona in second and third place, respectively.

Singapore (No. 1), Bangkok (No. 2) and Sydney (No. 3) cemented their positions at the top of the Asia-Pacific rankings for another year, according to Cvent. Dubai, Istanbul and Abu Dhabi also maintained their positions as the leading meeting destinations in the Middle East, consistent with last year’s rankings.

In Latin America and the Caribbean, Mexico’s Cancun/Riviera Maya once again took the top spot, followed by San Juan, Puerto Rico; and Nassau in the Bahamas.

The top hotel in each of those regions was the Hilton Singapore Orchard, the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai and the Waldorf Astoria Costa Rica Punta Cacique.

This year’s hotel criteria included total RFPs, awarded room nights, major metro market share, plus RFP response and bid rates — measured as the percentage of RFPs answered with a proposal, according to Cvent.
