Reed & Mackay has named Isabel Torres as operations managing director of North America. The appointment, according to an announcement, follows a 30% increase in US-based hirest. Torres brings more than 30 years of experience in global travel management operations, account management, and travel technology. Most recently, Ms. Torres served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Ovation Travel Group and Lawyers Travel.

Air Partner, a logistic provider, has named Oliver Giesen as Head of OBC-Global. (OBC is on-board courier). The appointment, according to an announcement, signifies the company’s commitment to enhancing its time-critical services. Oliver has over a decade’s experiences in roles at NEO Air Charter GmbH and Chapman Freeborn Airchartering.

Cvent, the meetings technology platform, has named Andreas Heckmann to the newly created role of chief customer officer; he has been executive vice president at SAP. Heckmann will lead a global team of more than 10,000 customer service and development employees, according to an announcement.
