Partnership Travel Consulting announced that Christopher Singh will join the company as senior vice president of travel technology solutions. According to the announcement, he is an experienced global travel manager who has spent most of his career at The Walt Disney Company. Andrew Menkes, founder of PTC, said he and Singh go back almost a decade, when he was a client at The Walt Disney Company. Singh’s ability to think out-of-the box, said Menkes, “enabled Disney to design an automated system for both ‘cast members’ and thousands of non-employees who could seamlessly book 100% of their trip online, including meeting registration, airline tickets and virtual payments.”
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts announced that Amit Sripathi, who has been chief development officer – Noth America, has been appointed CFO. Additionally, the company has named David Wilner, a 30-year franchise sales veteran, as chief development officer – North America. Sripathi joined Wyndham in 2021 and has served in a variety of leadership roles. Prior to Wyndham, Sripathi was with RLJ Lodging Trust. Wilner has been with Wyndham for almost eight years. Prior to that, he spent 20 years with La Quinta.
Virgin Hotels Collection announced the appointment of Paloma Martinez as vice president of operations, Americas. In this expanded role, said the announcement, she will oversee operations across the brand’s U.S. Virgin Hotels portfolio, as well as key Virgin Limited Edition properties in the region, including Necker Island and Branson Beach Estate. Martinez, according to the announcement, brings over 30 years of experience in luxury hospitality, including roles with InterContinental Hotels Group, Six Senses and Kimpton Hotels.
