Appointments and promotions at Clarasight, Medjet and NoMad Hotels

Clarasight, a travel data specialist, has appointed Sachin Sekhri as strategic accounts director with a focus on expanding the company’s presence across North America. Most recently he was BCD Travel’s vice president of global sales. Sekhri previously held senior commercial leadership roles at Oversee, Egencia and IBM. Clarasight launched in 2021 as a carbon planning tool and recently broadened its AI-powered platform to bring together data on business travel spending, supplier performance and policy compliance.

Medjet, the global air-medical transport and security provider, announced that John Gobbels, COO, will become president and CEO, effective April 1. According to an announcement, Gobbels brings more than 22 years of operational leadership to the new position. He joined Medjet in 2003.

NoMad Hotels has promoted Kristen Millar to chief brand officer as the group prepares for international expansion, including a new location in Singapore. Millar brings 16 years of hospitality industry experience, including leadership roles at New York restaurants such as Eleven Madison Park and as global brand director at NoMad. According to an announcement, she has contributed to the development of NoMad’s brand identity since its launch in New York in 2012.
