Delta Air Lines has promoted Matt Long, most recently director of international customer experience strategy and integration, to managing director of Europe and Africa. He succeeds Matteo Curcio, who retired in fall 2025 and had been senior vice president  of Europe, Middle East, Africa and India. Delta did not say who would head up the Middle East and India regions. Long has been with Delta since April 2013, except for a nearly two-year stint from 2018 to 2020 at Aeromexico, where he was vice president of customer experience design and VIP lounges.  He had been in his previous Delta position since November 2022.
