Austin — 1 Hotel Austin has opened inside Waterline, the new downtown Austin skyscraper that recently became the tallest building in the state. The 252-room hotel is the first Texas location for 1 Hotels. The hotel is part of the mixed-use Waterline development, which includes apartments, office space, a restaurant and retail. The hotel has several new restaurants and bars, the Bamford Wellness Spa and more than 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
Manila — The 300-room Wyndham Garden Manila Bay has opened; it is the brand’s debut in the Philippines. Located two and a half miles from Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the property has an outdoor pool, a restaurant and a gym. Each room features a balcony, flat-screen smart HDTV, coffee/tea maker, mini-refrigerator, minibar, welcome gift and bottled water.
Manchester, UK — Radisson Blu Medlock Hotel, Manchester has opened; it is the first development within the Medlock Square mixed-use campus adjacent to Etihad Stadium and Co-op Live arena. It has a fitness center, a restaurant and meeting space.
Alexandria, Minn. — Holiday Inn Express & Suites Alexandria has opened with 92 rooms. It offers free breakfast, a pool, a fitness center, EV chargers and on-site parking.
