Duluth, Ga. – City Express by Marriott Duluth has opened a 30-minute drive from downtown Atlanta; it is the first for the brand in the US. According to an announcement, the opening marks a significant milestone for the company as its official debut in the affordable midscale segment in the US and Canada. The 83-room hotel offers free breakfast and WiFi, a 24-hour market and fitness facilities.

Exeter, UK — Voco Zeal Exeter Science Park has opened as IHG’s first branded net zero carbon hotel. It has been designed to operate entirely on renewable and solar energy. The 142-room property offers a mini-gym, gardens, a meeting space and 12 EV charging points. It has a restaurant and bar that emphasize the use of locally sourced ingredients.
