The FCM Consulting logo is prominently displayed against a background of towering, modern skyscrapers. The logo features bold black letters "FCM" with the "M" accented in bright green, symbolizing growth and innovation, followed by "Consulting" in a sleek gray font. The upward perspective of the buildings conveys ambition, progress, and professionalism in a corporate environment.

FCM Travel, the large-market business travel division of Flight Centre Travel Group, announced participation in NDC FastTrack, a cross-industry initiative designed to accelerate practical adoption of NDC for corporate travel. Accelya, a technology provider, is the lead orchestrator of the initiative.

NDC FastTrack, according to the announcement, is an open, industrywide program that brings together providers, users and technology partners. The program focuses on real-world adoption by identifying best practices and technical issues that may be preventing the adoption of NDC. It debuted at GBTA’s annual convention in Denver.

FCM Travel has long been at the forefront of NDC adoption, said the announcement, with a proven ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the industry. Through its participation in NDC FastTrack, said the announcement, the company will take an “exciting next step” toward expanding and refining its NDC content capabilities, building on years of progress with leading technology providers, such as SAP Concur, Sabre and Amadeus.

John Morhous, global chief experience officer, FCM Travel, said, “As the business travel landscape continues to shift, we recognize the value of community and the importance of a shared vision across the travel ecosystem.”  The NDC FastTrack program, he said, will do just that — “helping to foster collaboration and offering us the opportunity to work more closely with participating NDC providers and other technology partners.”

With the program now underway, FCM Travel will participate in upcoming technical sessions and forums, expected to roll out in the months ahead. Tye Radcliffe, chief customer success officer of Accelya, said, “FCM’s track record in corporate travel innovation and its strong technology partnerships make it a valuable addition to the initiative.”
