Choice Hotels International has named former Hyatt Hotels Corp. and Sonesta International Hotels executive Kaaren Hamilton as its new vice president of global sales. According to an announcement, she will lead Choice’s sales strategy, “providing leadership across our channel partners, corporate and group sales teams, while simultaneously identifying new business opportunities and deepening customer relationships.” Hamilton most recently served as associate vice president for commercial services at Hyatt. She has also been Sonesta’s vice president of global sales and spent 11 years with Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, now known as Radisson Hotel Group.
