Amgine, a corporate travel’s agentic AI automation platform, announced a “significant strategic investment” from BCD Travel, expanding an established partnership and accelerating the company’s vision for a new operating model for managed travel.

Greg Apple, CEO of Amgine, said, “This investment validates both the technology we have built and the strength of our partnership with BCD.”  He added: “We had already secured the capital needed for our next stage of growth. BCD’s investment allows us to move faster, compressing development and deployment timelines as we scale a new operating model for managed travel globally.”

The investment follows Amgine’s fully funded capital raise, making BCD’s commitment entirely incremental, according to the announcement. The additional capital will enable Amgine to accelerate product development, expand global implementation capacity and scale its AI platform more quickly across the corporate travel ecosystem.

Amgine’s approach, according to the announcement, connects booking channels, traveler requests, policy, content and servicing workflows through an intelligent operational layer that works with existing travel technology. The platform, said the announcement, supports transient and group travel while enabling TMCs to modernize operations and deliver more intuitive traveler experiences without replacing the systems their customers already rely on.

Stephan Baars, CEO of BCD, said Amgine has demonstrated that agentic AI can deliver meaningful operational value that, in turn, improves service quality and the traveler experience.” The investment, he said, “reflects our confidence in Amgine’s technology and leadership, as well as the opportunity to build on the results we have already achieved together.”

The expanded partnership, said the announcement, will accelerate new platform capabilities, strengthen global deployment resources and help both companies advance a more connected, efficient and traveler-centered operating model for managed travel.
