Spotnana, the business travel platform, announced it had released “a deep, direct NDC integration to Singapore Airlines that provides our customers and partners with full access to content, a better shopping experience, increased savings opportunities and comprehensive servicing capabilities.”
In a blog post, Seth Anagnostis, senior director, content and distribution for Spotnana, said, “Through our new direct integration, Spotnana now supports Singapore Airlines’ NDC-based offers and enhanced capabilities throughout all stages of a trip from shopping through to servicing.”
Key benefits of the arrangement, according to the announcement, include:
- Continuous pricing — Singapore Airlines’ NDC fares are 7% lower on average than EDIFACT, with potential for additional savings when dynamic pricing is applied.
- No distribution surcharge — Corporations avoid paying distribution cost recovery fees that are charged for booking in other channels.
- Corporate negotiated fares — Travelers can view their company’s logo featured alongside negotiated rates.
- Personalized offers — Loyalty status is recognized during the booking flow, allowing travelers to access their loyalty benefits during seat selection.
- Hold a ticket — Hold a ticket for up to 24 hours before completing the purchase.
- Self-service exchanges and cancellations — Travelers can quickly cancel, exchange and upgrade bookings without contacting a travel agent.
