Reed & Mackay, a corporate travel and event management provider, has made a number of appointments to drive growth in multiple markets. Following his appointment as chief revenue officer in November 2024, said an announcement, Kieran Hartwell has led the expansion and alignment of the sales and marketing teams, accelerating senior appointments across all key markets to drive the company’s global growth efforts.

Appointments included:

  • Joanna Hillman was named director of European development. She spent more than 25 years with CWT with a focus on sales and business development.
  • Emmie Mees was named director of global sales with a focus on mid-market multinational clients. She had been with Corporate Travel Management for 10 years
  • Daisy Crane has become senior manager of meetings & events, strategy and consulting. She has more than 15 years’ experience in strategic meetings management at Amex GBT.
  • Sandhya Shyam becomes global director of growth marketing. She brings, said the announcement, extensive experience in driving acquisition and customer growth for technology businesses across multiple verticals, including retail.
  • In North America, Trevor Fleming and Rob Scales were named vice presidents of business development. Fleming was most recently with Travelport and will focus on Reed & Mackay’s sales across the Midwest and west coast. Scales brings with him nearly two decades of experience in travel, meetings and events development, including tenures at CTM, FCM Meetings & Events and serving on the GBTA Committee. He is focused on Reed & Mackay’s core legal sector and is based on the east coast.

Reed & Mackay, said the announcement, is keenly focused on strengthening its synergies between the UK and US markets, which are the two biggest growth engines for the business. And, in recent years, the TMC has established a growing presence in mainland Europe, with wholly owned offices in Spain, France, Sweden, Germany and Italy.
