BWH Hotels, which comprises of three companies including WorldHotels, Best Western Hotels & Resorts and SureStay Hotels, announced the appointment of Torin Beeler as managing director, worldwide sales – corporate travel. Beeler will report to Chad Fletcher, senior vice president of worldwide sales, and lead the global corporate travel sales strategy for the company. He has extensive industry experience, including roles at IHG Hotels & Resorts and Choice Hotels & Resorts.

Festive Road, a corporate travel consultancy, has appointed Susan Standiford as a strategic advisor focused on artificial intelligence strategy for corporate travel and expense programs. She was former chief technology officer for IKEA. As part of her role, Standiford, according to an announcement, will co-lead Festive Road’s “AI Collab” series, a peer forum for travel and expense leaders discussing AI implementation.

Marriott International has announced the promotion of Dilpreet Singh to vice president, operations, South Asia & franchise operations. He joined Marriott International in 2015 as director of operations at JW Marriott Aerocity, New Delhi, and moved into the area team in 2018. He most recently served as senior director of operations for north India, Nepal & Bhutan, and franchise operations.

Alaska Airlines has promoted CFO Shane Tackett to president; he will retain his CFO role. Tackett has been with the airline for more than 25 years. Prior roles included executive vice president of planning and strategy and senior vice president of revenue and e-commerce.
