United Airlines has promoted Michael Leskinen to CFO, overseeing corporate finance, treasury, financial planning and analysis, tax, accounting, investor relations, procurement, internal audit, risk management and corporate strategy. He will also become part of the airline's Executive Team. Leskinen joined the airline in 2018 as managing director of investor relations and was promoted to vice president of corporate development and investor relations in 2019. In 2021, he added the title of president of United Airlines Ventures (UAV), a corporate venture capital fund that identifies and invests in opportunities to decarbonize air travel and enhance the customer travel experience.

Prior to United, Leskinen was an executive director at J.P. Morgan Asset Management from 2013-2017, where he led the firm's investment efforts in aerospace, defense, and airlines. And from 2009-2013, he worked at Oppenheimer Funds focused on the aerospace sector.


Christopherson Business Travel announced the appointment of Gregory Mueller as vice president of product and user-experience (UX) design. Responsible for all product design at Christopherson, Mueller brings over 15 years of diverse experience across industries, such as travel, healthcare, eCommerce, and open-source developer tools. He has been involved in design efforts for companies that include Amazon, Yahoo and PSNGR1.


AKA, a luxury hospitality provider, has named Scott Walsh as executive vice president of asset, design and development, responsible for sourcing new projects, participating in raising capital and developing strategic business models for new and existing assets. He has more than two decades of experience, most recently as a project director at Lendlease, an international construction and real estate company.
