Navan has named Kim Hamer as chief travel advisory officer. She has more than two decades of experience in the global travel industry, including leading Visa’s global travel program. She has also been a consultant at Results Plus and Garner. Hamer has been on the International Air Transport Association’s Travel Management Advisory Group and has chaired GBTA’s Aviation Committee.
Kempinski Hotels has named Frank Veenstra as chief development officer. According to an announcement, he has overseen major development projects worldwide in senor roles at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, NH Hotels and Corinthia Hotels.
Travelport has appointed former Skyscanner CEO John Mangelaars as its COO, overseeing all the travel technology company’s commercial activities. He spent more than four years at Skyscanner. Prior to that he was CEO of travel technology company Travix International, which was acquired by the Trip.com Group.
Advito, BCD Travel’s consulting arm, has promoted Olivier Benoit to managing director. He has been senior vice president and has been with Advito for 12 years. Benoit replaces April Bridgeman, who has been with BCD for more than 22 years and was managing director of Advito since 2013.
