
The Midoco Group, a software provider for the travel industry, has named Michael Duffy as vice president, sales & strategic partnerships-North America. According to the company, he has more than 20 years of experience across travel technology, sales, agency operations, back office accounting, payments, product innovation, and strategic partnerships, with leadership roles at Grasp Technologies, Encore Travel, and Maritime Travel. Duffy, according to the company, will help accelerate Midoco’s growth in North America, deepen relationships across the travel ecosystem, and support our continued expansion with TMCs, agencies, partners, and customers.

Marriott International has named Chris Buckner as senior vice president, loyalty. He most recently served as executive vice president of product, loyalty and design at The Points Guy. Buckner has also held loyalty-focused positions at Delta Air Lines and PayPal.

American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) has appointed Michael Esquibel as chief technology officer, leading the TMC’s technology and AI strategies. He has been with Amex GBT for eight years, most recently as senior vice president of technology and platform engineering. Prior to joining the company, Esquibel was vice president and chief of staff for global operations and technology at Western Union, and he also has worked in corporate finance leadership positions at Fiserv and Verizon Business.

Kempinski Group, the luxury hospitality company, has appointed Noel Attard as chief development officer. According to an announcement, he has spent two decades with Kempinski across operational, finance, company and corporate roles, most recently serving as chief transformation officer.
