
Travelport announced the appointment of Kenneth Johansen as chief revenue officer. He will lead Travelport’s commercial organization, with responsibility for the company’s agency, operator and travel partner channels. Internova Travel Group announced the appointment of Brian Chapin as vice president, air strategy & partner relations. In this role, according to the announcement, he will lead Internova’s air strategy while strengthening the company’s relationships with airline, global distribution system (GDS) and technology partners. Prior to joining Internova, Chapin served as vice president, global flights for Scenic Group, where he led the company’s global air organization across North America, the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific. Earlier, he held leadership roles with Ensemble Travel Group, Virtuoso, American Airlines and Sabre.

Langham Hospitality Group has named Nils-Arne Schroeder as COO as it expands its pipeline of hotels and residences to a wider range of destinations. He has more than 30 years of hospitality experience in multiple regions, according to an announcement. Most recently, Schroeder served as senior vice president, operations – Europe and Africa for Raffles and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, based in Dubai. Prior to that, he was senior vice president, operations – Asia, Middle East and Africa for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. Earlier in his career, Schroeder spent more than two decades with Hilton, holding hotel, regional and brand leadership roles across Europe, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific, according to the announcement.
