Hyatt Hotels Corps. has named company veteran Adam Rohman as head of its Americas region, effective July 1. In his new role, he will lead operations across Hyatt’s Americas region and oversee global brand strategy for Hyatt’s “Classics” full-service hotel brands, such as Hyatt and Hyatt Regency; and “Essentials” select-service brands, including Hyatt Place and Unscripted by Hyatt. Rohman has more than 20 years of experience with Hyatt and currently serves as senior vice president of investor relations, global financial planning and analysis and treasurer. He will take over from Pete Sears, who is retiring after almost 40 years with Hyatt but will stay on as a senior advisor after June 30 to support the leadership transition.
Wyndham Hotels & Resort has appointed Christopher Androski as chief accounting officer, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He will replace Nicola Rossi, who is stepping down after nearly 25 years with the company. Androski is currently senior vice president and controller at Wyndham. He previously worked at Galileo America, a subsidiary of Travelport, as well as Cendant Corporation.
