Casto, a travel industry business process management provider, has named Eve White as vice president of sales for North America. In her new role, she will focus on growing the company’s partnerships with TMCs, supplier organizations and leisure networks. White most recently had senior leadership roles at WhereTo, FCM Travel and Corporate Travel Management, and was previously an executive at both HRG and BCD Travel.
BizTrip.AI has named Valerie Layman as head of product strategy. BizTrip.AI, which acts as a “personal concierge” in helping travelers find the best booking options in a conversational style, launched last year and since has become part of Sabre Corp.’s investments. Layman previously was chief product officer at price assurance technology Yapta, which was co-founded by BizTrip.AI co-founder and CEO Tom Romary. More recently, Layman had been working outside the corporate travel sphere, serving as chief product officer for hospitality procure-to-pay platform BirchStreet Systems.
Hilton announced the appointment of Linda Griffin as area general manager, Canada, overseeing a portfolio of full‑service and focused‑service hotels across Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia. Over more than three decades with Hilton, said the announcement, she has worked in five continents and eight countries including Canada, with senior leadership roles across North America, Europe and the Mediterranean.
