Appointments and promotions at Partnership Travel Consulting and Finnair

Partnership Travel Consulting, a TMC, announced the appointment of Brian Gillott as global head of business development. Based in Australia, Gillott has three decades of experience with TMCs and other travel companies including Expedia, Corporate Travel Management and American Express Business Travel. According to the announcement, he has extensive expertise across the airline, corporate travel and travel technology sectors.

Finnair has appointed Javier Roig Sanchez as its new general manager of North America, based in Dallas. He joined the airline in 1995 and has spent most of his career in sales director roles across different European markets. Roig Sanchez most recently was joint business sales lead in the Europe, Middle East and Asia region in addition to his regular market director duties for the Central and Southern European markets, according to Finnair.
