Hyatt Hotels Corporation has named Julienne Smith as Head of Americas Growth. In this role, she will oversee the expansion of Hyatt’s brand portfolio in North America, Latin America and the Caribbean. Smith most recently served as chief development officer for the Americas at IHG Hotels & Resorts, where she led development strategy and execution across a broad portfolio of brands. She previously spent nearly 14 years with Hyatt, most recently as senior vice president of development and owner relations.

WorldHotels has appointed Jennifer Parks as vice president of development, charged with leading development efforts across North America for the BWH Hotels-owned brand. She brings more than 20 years of experience across hospitality and travel, most recently serving as vice president of development and communications at Curator Hotel & Resort Collection. She also held leadership roles at National Geographic, focused on travel and lodging portfolios.
