Appointments and promotions at Virgin Atlantic, Fox World Travel and Carey International

Virgin Atlantic announced that Corneel Koster will become CEO on Jan. 1, replacing Shai Weiss, who has led the airline for seven years. Koster rejoined the carrier as chief customer officer in 2019, expanding his role to chief customer and operating officer in 2020. He has three decades of experience, including with Delta Air Lines, Aeromexico and KLM. He was director of operations, safety and security at Virgin Atlantic between 2010 and 2013.

Fox World Travel has named Mia Beltran as vice president of marketing and customer success. According to an announcement, she has more than 30 years of marketing experience and has played a key role in Fox’s growth. Beltran previously served as Fox’s marketing manager, brand manager and director of customer experience.

Carey International, the ground transportation company, has promoted Danny Chesworth to vice president of international sales. He has been with the company for nearly 22 years, most recently as sales and strategic partnerships director for Europe/Middle/East/Africa and Asia-Pacific. Carey was acquired by The Najafi Companies in September 2024 and named Alexander Mirza as CEO in June.
