Travelport and LOT Polish Airlines announced that the carrier’s NDC content is now live on Travelport+, making it available to agencies across all the airline’s markets. The “go-live,” said the announcement, fulfills commitments made when the two companies renewed their distribution agreement, extending a partnership that dates to 1993.

Under the renewed agreement, Travelport-connected agencies can now access LOT Polish Airlines’ NDC content through Travelport+, including a comprehensive range of unsurcharged fares, domestic Polish itineraries and additional ancillaries that were previously unavailable through traditional distribution channels.

LOT Polish Airlines’ NDC content is accessible to agencies through both Smartpoint, Travelport’s booking application; and TripServices, Travelport’s cloud-native API platform. Whichever way agencies choose to access the content, said the announcement, they benefit from the same foundation: normalized, curated content across sources, intelligent orchestration and search, and consistent servicing, all from one place.

Dawid Karas, head of sales at LOT Polish Airlines, said, “This milestone enables our content, including domestic Polish routes and a richer range of ancillaries, to reach a wider network of agents through a platform they already trust.” It is a significant step, he said, “in how we distribute our product to the market.”

Damian Hickey, global head of travel partners at Travelport, said, “LOT is a strategic airline in Central and Eastern Europe, and with this go-live, agencies connected to Travelport+ can now access their NDC content, including unsurcharged fares and Polish domestic itineraries, in a way that was simply not possible before.”
