JetBlue announced that BlueHouse, the airline’s first-ever airport lounge, will officially open its doors at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Terminal 5 at 5 a.m. on Dec. 18.

Marty St. George, president, said, “BlueHouse helps make our flagship terminal feel more like home.” As the carrier’s first lounge, he said, “it represents an exciting milestone in our JetForward journey as we focus on bringing affordable, premium experiences from the aircraft to the airport.”

The lounge features:

  • 9,000 square feet and two floors bringing “a New York apartment–style aesthetic” to JFK Terminal 5, according to the announcement, with Art Deco design, curated local art and “playful nods” to JetBlue’s history.
  • Local flavor infused through fresh bites curated by Union Square Events and beverages from New York partners Joe Coffee, The Greats of Craft and Please Don’t Tell.
  • High-speed WiFi, ample power outlets, a game room, open seating and quiet areas offering space to the different needs of travelers looking to socialize, work and relax before flying.

Complimentary access is available to Mosaic 4 members, JetBlue Premier cardmembers and transatlantic Mint customers.
