GlobalStar, the network of TMCs, announced it has entered into a partnership with Magnatech Travel Management Solutions to provide workflow and risk management solutions to GlobalStar members.

Under the arrangement, GlobalStar members will use Magnatech’s automated risk messaging and duty of care platform, SafeToGo; and its automated workflow solution, MTWorkflows. GlobalStar partners, according to the announcement, will benefit from access to preferential member rates and a universal portal interface.

Founded in 1990, Magnatech Travel Management Solutions provides automation tools and itinerary software, helping corporate travel companies manage, track, locate, validate and deliver information.

SafeToGo’s travel risk management serves agencies and their corporate clients, enhancing traveler safety and streamlining travel disruption management. MTWorkflows is designed to deliver operational efficiencies by automating messaging, quality control, PNR validation, auto-ticketing, policy validation and pre-trip approval.
GlobalStar operates in more than 2,500 locations in over 55 countries.

Julian Russell, executive director of IT and supplier relations at GlobalStar, said the collaboration “opens up new avenues for our partners to further extend the duty of care they provide to clients.” He added, “We believe that both solutions are game-changers and we’re excited to see the positive impact they’ll have on the network.”
