Chapman Freeborn, the global air charter provider, has signed an agreement with AJEX Logistics Services, a Middle East-based company specializing in airport passenger services. The agreement expands Chapman Freeborn’s passenger operations in Saudi Arabia, a strategic response to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 program.
Chapman Freeborn’s move to increase service offering in the region comes as the charterer reports 100 percent growth in its passenger footprint across the Middle East in 2024 and significant investment in personnel throughout the last two years.
“This collaboration aligns with our mission to provide world-class aviation services and reflects our dedication to supporting the Kingdom’s Vision 2030,” said Gerhard Coetzee, vice president cargo at Chapman Freeborn.
Launched in 2016, Vision 2030 aims to diversify the Saudi economy and reduce its dependence on hydrocarbons. Part of the strategy is to increase Saudi Arabia’s annual passenger numbers to 330 million, expanding connectivity to over 250 destinations from 29 airports.
“By combining our regional strengths with Chapman Freeborn’s extensive global network, we are committed to delivering enhanced aviation solutions that support the Kingdom’s ambitious growth objectives,” said Mohammed Albayati, chief executive officer of AJEX Logistics Services.
