Blacklane, a global chauffeur service, announced the appointment of Michael Black as New York region general manager, reinforcing the companyʼs accelerated growth and presence in one of its most strategic US markets.
Black will lead Blacklaneʼs New York operations including building and managing the local team, ensuring the highest standard of service for guests, cultivating strategic partnerships, and driving business growth in the city, according to the announcement. He will report to Kasra Moshkani, the recently appointed Blacklane CEO Americas and will play a crucial role expanding Blacklaneʼs business in the US
Black worked at Uber as general manager for the Uber Everywhere expansion team and later led Rides Operations across the US and Canada, including Premium Products. He then oversaw delivery platform operations at DoorDash and held senior leadership roles at Veho and Clutter – driving business development, partnerships and strategic initiatives
