Arkia Israeli Airlines announced it will offer a new business class service on flights between New York (JFK) and Tel Aviv beginning May 14. The flights will use Airbus A330-200 aircraft with an 18-seat business class cabin.

The carrier said the business class will include comfortable seats with a full-reclining option, two hot meals, extensive baggage allowance, a comfort kit, a personal entertainment system and access to business lounges both in New York and Tel Aviv. The VIP service will also include dedicated check-in counters, slippers, blankets, personal headphones and a selection of alcohol and culinary options.

Arkia launched its Tel Aviv-New York route in January. The flights have so far been operated on Airbus 330-900 NEO aircraft.

El Al and United Airlines also offer business class on the same route, with Delta Air Lines planning to resume flights on the route in early April.
