Passenger trips issued through online travel agencies rose 8.6% year over year, while those issued by leisure and corporate agencies decreased 0.5% and 3%, respectively, over the same period.
Steve Solomon, chief commercial officer, said, “July’s results show continued demand for air travel, with ARC-accredited agency sales and passenger trips higher year over year for the second-straight month.” Travel agencies, he said, “are starting the second half of the year with positive momentum as ticketing trends have normalized after some volatility earlier in the year.”
NDC transactions accounted for 21.5% of the total ARC-settled transactions in July 2025 — up from 19.7% in July 2024. In July 2025, a total of 1,039 travel agencies reported NDC transactions.
