Deal will enable NDC content

American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) has agreed to a new partnership with Finnair to expand new digital content, including NDC-enabled offers, to corporate customers.

The new agreement is focused on creating value for customers through NDC-enabled technologies, enabling NDC content while supporting the integrity and effectiveness of managed travel programs. Amex GBT customers can now access Finnair’s best available fares, avoiding any surcharges.

Amex GBT’s global NDC program continues to grow, according to the company, with more than 20 airline partners participating, NDC content available to more than 15,000 customers and over 1 million NDC tickets processed since January 2024 across 16 point-of-sale countries.

John Bukowski, Amex GBT’s vice president, content acquisition and strategic sourcing, said, “As we continue to advance these agreements with our airline partners, we’re able to increasingly provide customers with the best travel options within our marketplace, across all our solutions — proprietary and third-party channels, online and offline.”

Jenni Suomela, vice president, sales and retail for Finnair, said, “We are excited about the partnership and opportunity to offer more personalized and efficient travel experiences, leveraging the strengths of NDC.”
