American Express announced that all new and existing American Express U.S. Business Platinum and Business Gold Card Members can now get up to $300 in statement credits per calendar year on US purchases of ChatGPT Business subscriptions. Enrollment in the benefit is required, and subscriptions are subject to auto renewal.

ChatGPT Business, according to the announcement, is a secure, shared AI workspace designed to help teams use advanced models and tools across everyday business workflows. Built for businesses, said the announcement, it gives employees access to powerful AI capabilities.

This is a first-of-its-kind ChatGPT Business credit on a card, according to the announcement, and can help businesses access tools they value for running and growing their businesses. According to an Amex Trendex survey of small business owners, those who use AI say the technology is saving their business time (87%), reducing time spent on manual processes (81%) and improving employee productivity (73%).

With this update, according to Amex, U.S. Business Gold Card members can now access up to $845 back in statement credits annually on eligible purchases at select shipping, food delivery, retail and subscription merchants.

U.S. Business Platinum Card members, according to Amex, can unlock over $4,000 in business and travel value annually through statement credits on select purchases across tech, wireless, recruiting, travel and other benefits.
