Altour has unveiled Altour iQ, its proprietary AI-powered conversational travel intelligence platform designed to transform how organizations understand, predict and optimize their travel programs. By enabling users to explore business questions in plain language and receive insights instantly, according to an announcement, Altour iQ shortens the path from information overload to informed strategic decisions.

Altour iQ was showcased as an Innovation Faceoff finalist at Business Travel Show America 2026, a competition highlighting innovations in managed travel, meetings and traveler support. Developed in-house, said the announcement, Altour iQ represents a significant advancement in corporate travel technology, moving beyond conventional dashboards and historical reporting to deliver predictive insights, scenario analysis and actionable intelligence in seconds.

Rather than requiring travel managers to navigate complex reports or spend hours analyzing fragmented data, said the announcement, Altour iQ enables them to ask business questions in everyday language, uncover the factors driving performance, anticipate future outcomes and evaluate actions that can deliver maximized business value. That unlocks greater capacity to recognize opportunities early and improve program performance in line with an organization’s priorities and budgets.

The platform’s capabilities are built around four interconnected dimensions of decision intelligence:

  • Know: Gain immediate visibility into travel program performance, spending patterns, and emerging opportunities.
  • Understand: Identify the underlying drivers of costs, traveler behavior, and program outcomes.
  • Anticipate: Forecast future trends, identify emerging risks, and evaluate potential financial impacts.
  • Challenge: Test assumptions, explore alternative strategies and determine which actions can deliver the greatest business value.

“What makes Altour iQ so powerful is its ability to synthesize large volumes of data and uncover insights in seconds that could otherwise take hours of searching and analysis,” said Haley Rossow,  senior director of global business intelligence. “A travel manager can ask where savings opportunities are concentrated, explore what is driving them and test how different actions could affect the forecast – all within the same conversation. That means spotting opportunities sooner and intervening while there is still time to improve the outcome fundamentally changes what travel management teams can accomplish.”

Altour iQ is being made available through a phased commercial rollout, with broader market availability planned for the first quarter of 2027.
