Aeromexico has been name the most On-Time Global Airline in Cirium’s On-Time Performance Review 2024. According to data from the aviation analytics firm, the Mexican flag carrier had an on-time performance rate of 86.70 percent.

Saudia followed closely in second place with 86.35 percent, while Delta Air Lines secured third place with 83.46 percent. Delta also received Cirium’s Platinum Award for global operational excellence. The Platinum award considers the complexity of the carrier’s network, volume of flights, and the ability to limit the impact of flight disruptions.

Cirium’s Annual Review also presents five regional awards. Delta was named top performer in North America, while Iberia Express, member of the International Airlines Group, was the most On-Time airline in Europe, and the most On-Time Low-Cost airline globally.

Japan Airlines ranked first in Asia-Pacific, just ahead of All Nippon Airways. Copa Airlines achieved a landmark 10th win in Latin America, while FlySafair won most On-Time airline in the Middle East and Africa.

Cirium defines an on-time flight as one that arrives within 14:59 minutes of the scheduled gate arrival time. Airports count a departure as on-time if it is within 14:59 minutes of its scheduled departure time.

In the Airport categories, Riyadh King Khalid International Airport was named the most On-Time Global Airport, as well as the most On-Time Large Airport, with 86.65 percent of flights departing on time.
