Starting April 22, travelers on both Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines will have access to a single, unified Alaska Hawaiian mobile app. The new app is designed to support travel across both airlines, from booking and check-in to day‑of-travel updates.

The app redesign offers improved performance and expanded features, particularly for legacy Hawaiian Airlines app users. According to the companies, it also represents an important step in bringing the two airlines closer together.

The unified Alaska Hawaiian app eliminates the need to switch between apps or navigate different experiences, allowing customers to manage their entire journey in one place, whether flying Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines or connecting across both.

As part of the transition to one mobile platform, the current Alaska Airlines app will update automatically for most guests, while the legacy Hawaiian Airlines app will remain available through April 21. For guests booked on Hawaiian Airlines flights through April 21, that will be the last day to use the legacy Hawaiian Airlines app for check-in and day-of-travel updates.

On April 22, all guests will begin using the new Alaska Hawaiian mobile app for both airlines. Travelers who have not already done so should download the Alaska Hawaiian app prior to that date. The redesigned mobile app features a modern, refreshed interface with faster load times and improved reliability.

Users of the legacy Hawaiian Airlines app will find some welcome changes in the new app. Flights can be changed or canceled directly in the app. Customers can share boarding passes and book flights with over 30 airline partners, including oneworld alliance members, using cash or points. In addition, the app is integrated with Apple Pay.

While the platform is unified, the experience is still personal. Guests can choose between an Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines-themed experience, aligning the look and feel with the airline they fly most.

Travelers will find a single, seamless app experience with many features they have come to expect, including managing any existing travel, plus Atmos Rewards benefits, login and password remain unchanged.

The rollout of the unified app on April 22 is a key milestone in Alaska and Hawaiian’s ongoing integration into the same passenger service system, with simplified trip management and self-service features across both airlines.
