SAS has announced the opening of its second lounge at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Located in Terminal 5, the new SAS Lounge by Mastercard offers guests a variety of snacks and light fare. In addition, a full breakfast buffet is served in collaboration with Scandic Hotels.

“We are pleased to offer travelers exclusive amenities, just a short walk from security control,” commented Aron Backström, the airline’s vice president product and loyalty. “SAS Lounge by Mastercard is based on our valued partnership with Mastercard and Scandic Hotels, and represents a milestone in our shared goal of improving the experience for our travelers.”

Open daily from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Gate F26 in Terminal 5, SAS Lounge by Mastercard welcomes all travelers flying in SAS Plus, SAS Business or Business on a SkyTeam member airline, EuroBonus Diamond and Gold members and SkyTeam Elite Plus members flying on SAS or a SkyTeam member airline.

Arlanda Airport’s operator, Swedavia, has made major investments in the facility in recent years, including a new, modern security control. Coming in the second quarter of 2025, the new Marketplace is taking shape in Terminal 5, and the company continues to develop other projects at the airport.

“As part of Stockholm Arlanda’s ongoing development, it is particularly pleasing that we are getting a brand-new lounge in Terminal 5,” says Charlotte Ljunggren, director of marketing and commercial business development at Swedavia. “With the SAS Lounge by Mastercard, we continue to develop and fulfil our target group promise to our passengers of smooth, inspiring experiences where the airport becomes a meeting place in its own right.”
