Slate of new leaders will assume positions on July 23

Rosemary Maloney, senior director, corporate travel for Freeman, was elected president of the GBTA board of directors at a recent virtual annual business meeting. She will assume the position replacing Mark Cuschieri on July 23 after this year’s convention.

Direct board members will include: Alison Rogan, head of travel, events and expense management, HSBC (vice president); Christina Reichelt, senior manager, global travel procurement, Regeneron (director-at-large); Amarnath Lal Das, India travel lead and global crisis and compliance, Accenture Solutions (regional director – Asia-Pacific); Liz Oliveira, global travel manager, OMERS (regional director – Canada); and Joyce Negrelli Carrieri Macieri, global travel manager, Minerva Foods (regional director – Latin America).

Elected as allied members and directors-at-large were Laura Choules, senior director global sales Europe/Middle East/Africa, Global Hotel Alliance; and Lindsay Straub, global head of sales, FCM Travel.

Two additional board appointments were also announced, as voted on by two GBTA councils: Michelle Amos, travel & expense, meetings and events manager, Qualtrics (president, chapter presidents council); and Edward Galvin, vice president and head of North America B2B commercial payments sales, Visa (president, allied leadership council).
